About Mason kesterson

Your Local Guide to Life and Land in Southwest Missouri

I grew up in a small town, where I spent my days hunting, fishing, working cattle, and playing sports. That rural, outdoor lifestyle shaped who I am — and it still drives how I approach real estate today: with grit, honesty, and a deep appreciation for this land and the people on it.

After earning my degree in Wildlife Biology with a minor in General Business from Missouri State University, I knew I wanted a career where I could make a real impact — not just close deals. Real estate gave me the opportunity to help families, farmers, and investors find their place here, while staying active in causes I care deeply about.

Whether I’m volunteering with Abilities First, helping organize local galas, or starting a National Wild Turkey Federation chapter in Greene County, giving back to this community is part of my DNA.

I’ve lived in the Southwest Missouri area my whole life — so when I say I know the ins and outs of the local market, I mean it. From home values and land use to school districts and community culture, I bring local insight that goes beyond the numbers.

Backed by some of the best brokers in the Midwest, I’m proud to serve my clients with the same values I grew up with — respect, hard work, and a promise to treat your goals like they’re my own.

Let’s find what’s next — together.

Why Mason Kesterson

From investment properties to commercial spaces and everyday homes, my expertise guides you through every step of the journey.

Customer Service

This process is about you. So the most important thing is to make sure that YOU are happy. I am here to help make it as stress free and successful as possible.

Expertise

Knowing the market is so crucial when listing a property. This is why it is so important to choose the right realtor to help you with YOUR property. I am constantly going to seminars (local and national), talking with other agents, and staying up to date on anything new that is coming to your area that could affect your price.

Negotiation

Price is important, but having someone willing to negotiate for you is even more important. Being professional during the process, but also knowing when something is overpriced and not of quality is big. Using professionalism to get that situation solved is what we are here for. This could come down to professionally negotiating an inspection report, appraisal, or even getting the price adjusted.

Communication

Whether this is the first transaction or 100th transaction, communication is the most important part of the transaction. It is very important to know which step we are on, when the next step is happening, and what to look out for. This is something I don't take lightly as this can make or break a deal.

Charity we Partner with

This career allows me to not only make an impact on each one of my clients, but also be active in nonprofit organizations that mean more to me than one will ever know.
